"I found this site after I read that interview at www.thebody.com. I loved your response. Unless someone walks in our shoes, being poz like myself, no one can place judgement but they do. We are made to feel shameful about our situation with the public's mentality I have hear often such as "you got what you deserved" for being a "slut". "whore", "junkie", "irresponsible" (a big one) and whatever else they can scheme up. What's even worse in my experiences - other gay men discriminate against us just as bad or worse - believe me on that one! All this does is drive us deep into the HIV closet and the result is depression, despair and hopelessness. The biggest hypocrisy is that these people throwing stones are the first ones posting for sex on all the gay hookup sites, claiming they are HIV negative and never/refuse to get tested in the first place! They might be poz or have a plethora of other STD's and don't even know it or care to know it. Sorry world, we as poz people deserve better! Anyway your facility and parties are liberators for us and God knows we need it - no shame, no major anxieties and no hiding. I live in a neighboring state and I will take a visit there sometime soon. I support 150% of what you are doing. Just my 2 cents on this all."

Even though I was WAY over the age of everyone I did not feel any attitude and for that I am happy having been in the rat race of HIV since the 80's.
